Well as you can see, it’s going to be a pretty busy but pretty amazing year! It started off with the most beautiful sunset on the beach – brights oranges and pinks flooded the sky as we watched from the warm yellow sand, a BBQ with friends and then fireworks and silly games at the YWAM Perth base. We had New Year’s Day off so we headed back to the beach to make the most of the holiday before classes started again the next day.
Now it’s nearing the end of January, my lectures are drawing to a close with wonderful and inspiring teaching on what is happening in the world of missions now and to come and also looking back and seeing how the Bible, missions and passionate, dedicated, God fearing Christians who have fought for truth and biblical foundations to be upheld have developed our nations. There are a couple of websites below which I hugely recommend you look at. The gospel is continuing to spread, just as Jesus commanded, and Bibles are being translated to reach each and every tribe and tongue. Pick a nation or pick a tribe that doesn’t not yet have a Bible or does not have full time missionaries living among them and pray for them!
On Monday my small team of 3 fly to Nepal to start the first phase of our outreach, teaching seminars to Christian leaders in the rural areas. It’s going to be challenging both physically and spiritually as we enter in to a nation under strong spiritual strongholds – please pray for protection, guidance and safety!
I just have to take a few minutes to say how blessed I’ve been this past few weeks by my friends here in Australia. They are such incredible people, who love God above all else, who inspire me to learn more, seek more, pray more and love more. They make life here so wonderful and I am so lucky to be surrounded by them, to get to ‘do life with them’. It’s going to be hard heading off on outreach and then back to England for a few months, but I know they will be here when I return and I can’t wait!
